All requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to the Membership Director. Refund submission will be reviewed for approval by the MSC’s Membership Director & Commodore.
New members:
Up to one week before the scheduled start of the selected CanSail class, for new members: 75% refund.
From one week before the scheduled start of the selected CanSail class, for new members: 20% refund.
Returning members:
75% of the membership fee, when the refund submission is received before May 1st,
20% of the membership fee, when the refund submission is received between May 1st and July 1st.
Deferral option: Any member is eligible to defer their membership to the following year, once. The membership fees will be retained, and applied to an equivalent membership level for the following year/season.
